A SCOUT leader and two cub scouts made a trip to Westminster this week for Parliaments first-ever cub pack meeting.
Bedford and Kempston MP Richard Fuller was at the House of Commons event with Roxhana Patel, a leader with Brickhill Scout Group, and local cubs Fay Goddard and Felix Mallalieu.
Conservative MP Mr Fuller is also set to spend a day volunteering with the Brickhill group, to learn what the adult volunteers spend their time doing.
Roxhana said: Getting involved in Scouting is one of the best things Ive ever done. Whether its leading a camp or planning an activity, youre constantly being challenged. Volunteering has also helped me bring new ideas, confidence and creativity to my job.
St Georges Day Parade
Thanks to all those of you who turned up for St Georges Day Parade on Sunday.
The leaders were all very proud of the beavers, cubs and scouts in our group.
