Forms needed - see website 20th March The fire station has had to cancel our visit due to other 'fire & flood related work' Instead we will be doing some crafts and camp planning. 27th March Fire Safety/Fire Lighting / cooking 3rd April is only for APL/PLs Looking forward we have St George's Day 27th April 11th May District Bridge Walk --- I am thinking of doing a small limited numbers camp based around some activities 23rd to 25th May - This will be more expensive than our regular camps because of travel and activities etc. Estimate is £65 to £70 - Still in the planning stages but let me know if you are interested ---- ------- 7-8th June District Scout Camp - Great Barford Open to all - letter will come out soon Cost estimate £32 PHOTO LINKS Xavier's Dad (Naps) has taken some excellent photos which you can view on line. Hi All On the 6th I will be in reception in Oasis - from 6:15pm - please bring a 50p for the refundable lockers + swimwear + towel ---------------- On the 13th we are having the first of our Big 50 celebrations I need some help heating and serving food 5:40 to 6:30pm At the weekend is a disco at the community centre - contact Caroline Romans (secretary) for tickets | ||

On Thursday 12th December we are going to flowhouse in Twinwoods clapham for some fun see map This is earlier than our normal time I will be at the flowhouse from 6:15pm to register participants Swim suits and towel (wet suits are provided) | ||

Dear all, Unfortunately there has been a delay in obtaining the new non-slip floor As a result we have taken the decision to I hope that you are able to enjoy bonfire night celebrations elsewhere There are only a few people on the Exec committee and it has taken a lot off effort to make this happen. -------------- Our next meeting will be Thursday 14th November Knots and Golf
We also have the pleasure of inviting back an ex-Brickhill Scout Tom Mead who is going to show us how to golf. The following scouts will need to meet at Mowsbury Golf Course Car Park 7:40pm Behram

A few last reminders & things and to answer some questions
-Parents - should check in their scout with Dawn at the beginning of camp You will be asked if your child has a mild headache etc ... is it ok for the to have 1 Ibuprophen or 1 Paracetamol. I will have the in-touch contact details for you to take away and any last minute details.
1 small bag of sweets is ample - there will be plenty of food and biscuits you can bring books and games if you wish bring warm hats, gloves, blankets

If you want to come dress up for pumpkin carving - please do - no uniform necessary - but don't wear something that might get ruined by pumpkin juice I am hoping that everyone will carve their own pumpkins and do something really imaginative there are some great ideas on the internet http://wallpaperfast.com/pumpkin-carving-patterns-wallpaper.html/ If parents are able to bring a suitable knife for carving please do We will have a quick chat about camp at the end of the meeting - Parents please attend

Camp at Autumn HALF TERM |
Currently I am looking at a camp the weekend of 1st -3rd Nov at the end of half term. I would like some adults to help set up camp / breakdown camp etc It would also be great if there was a couple of adults who could come along but they would need to be CB checked prior to camp Please let me know if you are available. |
